I installed an update yesterday but it got stuck at 35% with a message saying "updates are underway keep your computer on", today i restarted my laptop and now the taskbar and screen keeps refreshing and I'm unable to perform any actions because it keeps refreshing in 3-4 seconds. I know this is a windows11 issue because my lockscreen in complete fine and I can even load the boot manager

So you end up reseting the system.

Anyway, I hope it fixes the issue.

    Please keep me posted.

    Thanks.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply, I've tried every option possible that i could find on the internet and none of them have worked. That mode did nothing but write "safe mode" in 4 corners of the screen and enlarge the desktop icons, that's it. The issue still occured. I've now given up and saved the important data to my pendrive and went for a complete reset. Now I just have to wait for 4-5 hours, fun.

    Hi JustJP26,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Can you try to boot in Safe Mode? Refer to the link below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...

Then while in Safe Mode, Go to Device Manage then uninstall the display driver.

After that, restart the PC normally.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks.
