"Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox keeps marking itself and microsoft stores and its apps will not open

I have been having a weird problem with my Win 10 x64: every time I try to open the Microsoft store or any app downloaded from it (like Netflix, Disney plus, weather app, etc.) it will not open and it gives me an error message telling me to check my internet connection. However, my internet connection is fine, as all websites open fine in all browsers and in other devices as well. I tried restarting the router and the problem stopped for a few hours but then it started again. When I run the commands for flushing DNS renewing IP in CMD, after restarting the PC, it comes back to normal for a few minutes, then it stops working again. I tried a Windows repair install and the problem continues. I also tried manually reinstalling the MOBO LAN drivers, but it did not solve the issue. Finally, I saw a post in a forum where they said to go to internet properties>Connection tab>LAN settings> and uncheck the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox. When I do this, the problem stops and I can access the Microsoft store and its apps normally. But the problem is that Windows keeps reverting these settings and auto-checking the checkbox, and this is not even after restarting the system... about 10 minutes after I change this setting I see the apps stop working and when I go back to look at it, the checkbox is marked again. The screenshot below shows the settings I am talking about. Does anyone know how to solve this and stop windows to auto check this option? I am the Admin, and I even tried doing this while in security mode and nothing changes. I am using Windows 10 x64 and I am connected through WI-FI.
