HyperVisor Error

Anonymous
2022-12-28T04:47:49+00:00

I have been getting HyperVisor errors almost NON STOP on my computer recently. I am not running any VM's on the machine at all either. I have also made sure HyperV is off and it is.

I have so far tried:

-Updating BIOS

-Updating Graphics Driver and Rolling Back

-Checking all drivers and updating

-Fresh Windows Install (3x on 2 different drives and M2 slots)

-Removing all but one stick of RAM (And trying different modules in all slots)

-Attempted DSIM and CHKDSK Commands

-Reseated power cables

-Removed GPU and attempted fresh install (When doing this got an IRQ not equal error)

Not too sure what to do next

HYPERVISOR_ERROR (20001)

The hypervisor has encountered a fatal error.

Hi, thanks for that information, in addition, is doing a custom installation an option for you? however, the process will delete all apps but will retain all files on the PC, if you are okay with that, you may follow the steps provided below:

Go to Windows 11 website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Under Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) select Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO)

Once done downloading the ISO, kindly right-click on ISO then click Mount> Click Sources folder>then look for Setup.exe inside the sources folder

Then follow the second picture to the last from this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

I have attempted to disconnect and reconnect cables with the same issue. When turning off intel virtualization it crashes randomly. Also, when trying to update windows it errors out. When using a windows ISO file to update it crashes with a green screen HyperVisor error

Hi, thank you for patiently waiting, upon analyzing and checking the DMP files, the error you have is ntkrnlmp.exe, this is usually caused by Damaged power cords and adapters, to fix this issue kindly refer to the steps provided on this link:

    https://www.lifewire.com/fix-the-ntkrnlmp-exe-e...

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Additional note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, and just to confirm can you still use the affected device? if so, we need to analyze the error, can you please check if you have minidump files on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?

Press Windows key + E (To open file explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location like Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage and please share the shareable link here.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
