Hi. I just replaced my old HP printer and i tried to clear out all the HP files manually but every time i start the computer i get "C:\Program Files\HP\HP Officejet4630 series\bin\HP StatusBL.dll" error. I went into the Registry Editor and removed all the HP values i couid find but i'm still getting this error at at startup. It's not affecting my PC in any way but just annoying. Thank you.

    Hi FellPainter9490,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Open Windows File Explorer

At the top, click View - Show, temporarily turn on 'Hidden Items

Paste this into the address bar in File Explorer and hit Enter:

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

In that folder, delete 'Monitor Ink Alerts'

    Restart your PC

Thank you for your replies. Before i checked your responses i continued to try and fix the problem myself and i was finally able to delete the

"Monitor Ink Alerts" which was causing the problem. I did a search in "files" using HP and found the ink alerts. I did notice other files that had the

HP in them which seemed to be more of a system file which i was careful not to delete.

I think your answers were much better than what i did. Wish i had checked your replies sooner! Thank you.
