Internet Connection, Firewall, and Microsoft Problem.

Good day!

For some odd reason, my internet connection was suddenly lost even though we have a good connection. As I went deeper to see what's going on, I also found out that my Bluetooth, Speakers, Microsoft Apps, (Word, Ppoint, Excel, Teams) Insert Flash drives are also inaccessible. I also can't open my PC using my own PIN after this incident. I also tried opening the firewall and it says;

"There was an error opening the Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security Snap-in"

There is also an Error Code 0x 6D9

On the bottom right screen, I can no longer see the date, time, wifi access, sounds etc. My widget and forecast are also disabled.

But I must confess, I did some "clean booting" that I followed in YT for trying to activate my DX12 because it's disabled and still, its disabled. Perhaps there's some correlation there and I messed up.

My PC is still working but I can't access most of my games and apps.

Can you guys help me?

Hi Aurelio,

I'm Christine, I'm here to help you.

First things first, since you've mentioned that you have performed cleanboot, it seems that the Bluetooth, Speakers and network drivers was disabled.

To correct this please follow the steps below:

1.Please press Windows key + R and type msconfig and hit enter. Under General Tab, please choose Normal Startup and hit Apply.

It will restart your device and all of the drivers should run as normal.

2 . If the issue persists, please run the Hardware troubleshooter

Please press Windows key + R

Paste the command below to the Run box and press Enter:

msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

Thank you,

Christine L

The first step worked splendidly madam! Thank you very much! It's working back to normal.

I was already planning to go to a PC service center. You just saved me some money there :)

Anyway just in case, may I ask on how can I check or scan my PC if I made some unwanted damages to her?
