If I have multiple user accounts on a device and one of them gets hacked, are the other accounts and their information safe? Or is the entire device compromised?

It's best not have any violations to the computer security.

Antivirus software, firewall, secure boot, etc. are each steps to make the home computer environment more secure.

Hackers are always looking for new methods to get data from computers.

So it's best to make free backup images.

Then when you perceive any problems you can restore an image.

This solves problems for malware or ransomware in less than one hour.

These are some free and pay software:

Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.

    That's a terrific question.

Once a computer is hacked, it's hacked. Or to put it another way, if one user account is hacked, the whole computer is hacked.

Hello, I'm A&K, here to help.

This depends on the user's permission level, and if an admin user is compromised, all data is compromised. Even if ordinary users are hacked, there is no way to ensure security.
