BSOD / Memory Dump

Anonymous
2022-06-14T21:41:54+00:00

The issue is:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
Invalid system memory was referenced. This cannot be protected by try-except.
Typically the address is just plain bad or it is pointing at freed memory.

I have been having on and off crashing with this error as well as:

VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR (119)
The video scheduler has detected that fatal violation has occurred. This resulted
in a condition that video scheduler can no longer progress. Any other values after
parameter 1 must be individually examined according to the subtype.

I am at a loss on what to do next, here is the most recent memory dump:

Thank you for your help.

    At the time the V2 log collector ran the RAM speed was 3600 MHz.

    The CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 supports RAM speeds up to 3200 MHz.

    1. Please make sure that there is no overclocking during the troubleshooting.

    Turn off XMP.

    1. The BSOD and live kernel event bugchecks were 116, 117, 119, 141, 3B, 50

    116 = VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE

    117 = VIDEO_TDR_TIMEOUT_DETECTED

    119 = VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR

    141 = VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED

    The computer has Video Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR).

    1. Turn off Windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-enable-disable-driver-updates-windows-update-windows-10-a.html
    2. Reinstall a Nvidia GPU driver with a different version from the currently installed: 30.0.15.1295

    Make sure that the clean install box is checked and if available install the physx driver.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/367109-display-driver-uninstaller-how-use.html https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx

    1. If multiple Nvidia GPU driver versions continue to cause BSOD then swap test the GPU card.

    For swap testing use either Nvidia or AMD.

    Uninstall and reinstall the Nvidia GPU driver nvlddmkm.sys using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) > reinstall from the Nvidia website

    https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/367109-display-driver-uninstaller-how-use.html

    https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx

    Upgrade the BIOS: 1C > 1I

    If there are any additional problems then run the V2 log collector and post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    Hi Samuel,

    My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

    Please reinstall NVidia drivers.

    If this will not help, run Windows memory diagnostic tool and switch it to extended mode when it starts (F1 key). Note, test hang at ~21% for more than 2-3 hours means memory error too.

    Turn off XMP mode in BIOS if it is turned on.

    And if your PC is home assembled, please check your RAM modes (voltage, frequency, timings) are in compliance with motherboard compatibility list (QVL).
