EXCEL.EXE - Application Error

When I woke up this morning and opened my laptop computer, a lot of things are running on it. The computer ultimately displayed a black screen with a pop-up window titled "EXCEL.EXE - Application Error". The content of that window was

"The instruction at 0x00007FFBF3C081A7 referenced memory at 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. The memory could not read.

Click on OK to terminate the program"

and there was an OK button at the bottom right corner. I tried to use my mouse and my track pad to click the OK button, but my attempts failed since the cursor did not appear on my screen at all. The screen then turned black. I tried pressing the on/off button to turn on my computer immediately, but I failed again. I waited half an hour and pressed the button again. This time, the computer turned on. It subsequently displayed the brand of my laptop and the black screen with the pop-up window described above. Is there any way to fix my computer?

Very bad idea to leave a PC in sleep overnight, it should be shutdown at the end of the day, for numerous reasons

If you hold the Pwr key that will force a reboot

Asus support will detail as to how to run diagnostics on boot

    Hi bryanlee0812,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Press and hold the power button on the case of your laptop for 5 - 10 seconds to ensue you have forced a complete shut down.

Wait a few seconds, then start your laptop again,, does it boot normally into Windows?
