Hi,

I have one of my collaborator that has a specific folder that crashes everytime he tries to research some files. The event log doesn't really help and I tried a lot of things.

  1. SFC /scannow > nothing changed
  2. Clear registry key HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags and BagMRU and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search > nothing changed
  3. Reset the file explorer parameters to default > helped for another folder that caused file explorer to crash because of the view with larges icons but the research in the specific folder still crash.
  4. I then noticed there was a comma in the folder name > removing the comma didn't changed anything
  5. Check if the Preview pane wasn't activated > nope
  6. Network Path lenght < 260 caracters

The problem only occurs for this particular person I can't reproduce the issue.

Do you have any idea of what is causing this ...?
