Broken WindowsApp folder in external drive

So I have the game pass and I'm trying to find out what's been blocking me from installing it to my external drive. Long story short I use to be able to, but recently became incapable of it, only to find a windowsapp folder on the drive that's empty and with no stated owner. Not "Trusted installer" but "unable to display owner."

The folder still can't be deleted and I'm convinced it's the issue as posts of the same issue from another time suggested deleting that exact folder. Either way, I'd like to know if and how I would be able to at least repair this folder and have its owner recognized because even with a TakeOwnership Tool the folder doesn't budge its binds.

    Hi CompostGirl

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Thee is no repair option for the WindowsApps folder, and to delete it from a drive is almost impossible, it is too highly protected.

The only successful method to delete that folder is to backup all other data on that drive, then, format the drive and finally restore the other data back onto that drive.
