I understand that you have encountered a virtual network adapter with Hyper-V disabled and the computer's own network also lost connectivity.
From your screenshot, the virtual NIC does replace the host network adapter as the default network adapter.
The problem may be a configuration confusion.
But questions related to Hyper-V are somewhat beyond our support, maybe you can ask this question by posting in Microsoft Docs.
