Hello Microsoft Community,

I would like to know what is the best way to track faulty driver that's been causing my BSOD since June.

I'm currently using WhoCrashed to know about these BSODs it does not reveal which driver/software is faulty.

Also to note, I have just restarted my laptop last week and i uninstalled all incoming Window updates and disabled driver updates as well.

Hope you guys can help me since I can't seem to solve this issue for a month now.

Thanks a lot.

    Thank you for the response.

Although I did notice that I got the BSODs after June i guess since the update. This is also what i observed when i clean restart my laptop - no BSODS. and then when i resumed the windows update it started to do so.

Any advice on how I should go about this?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

It may help to look at the minidump files from the blue screen crashes.

Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.

Here's a link on using OneDrive:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/onedrive/sha...

If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop.

Also, you do not necessarily have to zip up the minidump files, you can upload them one at a time.

    Sure,

These are the dump files. I have also just used BurnIt to stress test and it found some errors. Although I am not sure how to read or go about solving it.

Thank you advance. I really appreciate this.

The default of win 11 win update is to install important win updates only, driver updates are not installed by default

Run win update and install all important updates. (Do NOT install updates from anywhere else) other than if you have an external device, eg printer

Then visit the laptop makers support site to update both bios & ALL driver updates

There should be a pre-installed Makers update utility for this
