Windows 10 hotspot problem

If I enable "Share my Internet connection with other devices" (Share from Wi-Fi) on my Windows 10 laptop I can't access the internet with my Laptop.

Devices connected to the Laptop get Internet access but not the device sharing the Internet, in this case the Laptop.

Examples:

In this example, Device "Unknown" can access the Internet but not the Laptop (Hotspot)

If I disable "Share my Internet connection with other devices" I can access the Internet again as usual.

In this example, the Laptop can access the Internet again but is not sharing connection with anyone

Why is it that while sharing connection I can't access the Internet with my Laptop? It used to work fine but I can't seem to get it to work anymore.

What I tried to do:

  1. Troubleshoot using Windows Troubleshoot.
  2. Uninstall Windows Virtual Adapter
  3. Change IPv4 settings in the Windows Virtual Adapter 3.1 DNS 3.2 IP/Mask/Gateway
  4. Change ICS in Wi-Fi Adapter ---> Same result
  5. Change ICS in LAN Adapter ---> Doing this made Internet connection with Laptop possible but disabled it for connected devices

Can anyone help me with this?

    Hi carlos ,

I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

This is a know issue and it is already fixed on a Windows Update. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates, the update KB014666 fixes this hotspot feature issue.
