User Folder is Missing

I pulled a user's HDD from their PC to get some files from it. The drive boots fine and I can log in with the user's credentials, but I cannot get this PC to stay online more than a few seconds after Windows boots. The power supply is the culprit. We're replacing the PC since it's quite old.

Mounting the drive in another computer, I do not see the user's folder under the user's folder. I have hidden files and folders exposed and can see a hidden folder under the user's repository.

Looking around on the disk, I do not see the user's user folder anywhere.

I'm loading the drive on another Windows 10 PC, thinking that maybe Bitlocker makes it impossible for another PC to see that there are even files there, I opened up BL to see if I get an option to mount the drive, I do not. The drive appears as removable, "bit locker to go" = off.

Thoughts?

    Hi,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are having trouble finding files in the user folder after the hard drive is placed on another device.

Maybe you can try searching for files that were previously in the user's folder, such as on the desktop.

See if the corresponding file can be found.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
