Why does my backslash not work?

All other keys work perfectly fine, but when I type with my backslash, it gives random characters from the 3rd row of a keyboard. KASDFHL;'456GJ. It also applies CAPS LOCK. If wondering, I use a GMMK keyboard and have reset my settings several times for it.

    I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)

    I would suggest we also try to run the Keyboard troubleshooter

    Type troubleshoot setting in the Search bar

    Click on Additional Troubleshooter

    Select Keyboard then Run the troubleshooter

    Wait for it to finish the process
