It was a bios setting. SATA hotplug was enabled by default in my bios making all sata drives install as if they were removable USB drives. Odd function to have........fixed now by disabling that in bios then turning off drive encryption for that drive.
Bitlocker problem
I just upgraded my Motherboard and had to do a clean install of windows on my NVME drive. I also have a 2.5" SSD drive I use for my games. I am having an issue where bitlocker locks my SSD drive every time on a restart. How can I fix this?

2022-07-16T01:11:55+00:00 I built the computer myself. Gigabyte aorus elite x570 MB, Ryzen 7 5800x, 16gb 3733Mhz CL16 DDR4 HyperX ram, 1TB western digital M.2 NVME drive (windows boot drive), 2TB samsung 870 pro sata ssd (this is drive that is bitlocked on restart), RTX 3070 ti, corsair 750 watt power supply. Fresh install of windows 11 since I upgraded my MB from my old MSI b450 board. Windows was activated with my microsoft account.

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.
I Assume you have a bitlocker key backed up. Please go into BIOS Settings, clear all keys related to Secure boot, enter the key once and see if that resolves the issue.
Good luck.
