Hello @Murugan Andezuthu Dharmaratnam ,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.
Azure Data Lake Storage provides the choice of organizing data in two different ways. With hierarchical namespaces option, customers can organize their Data Lake into structured directories, folders and files. With flat namespaces, customers can operate their Data Lake as an unstructured blob store. Regardless of the two options, customers will pay for the same storage price as per the table below. However, with the hierarchical namespace option, customers will be charged for additional meta-data associated with the folder and directory structure as part of the bill.
If I ingest say 100 GB of data. store the data in adls and delete it after 10 minutes. how will the bill be calculated.
Note: Without any transaction and other operations and Meta Data Storage meters.
If its calculated over a monthly period then how do you calculate the daily value. I see a daily entry for storage in the csv file exported from azure cost management.
Subscription => Cost Analysis => Filter by Resource:<Name_of_resource> => Download CSV
Daily value is shown in the downloaded csv file.
You can always use Azure Pricing calculator to calculate based on your requirement.
For more details, refer Azure Blob Storage pricing.
