"Your account does not have access to the forums system"

My main account gets "Your account does not have access to the forums system" when I try to browse and engage in the forums. It is under a different account, which I can provide in private?

I have seen others had this issue during the migration, but my account has not worked for some time. I kept using private browsing, but I had other content I wanted to update that were under my other account.

Please advise.
Thank you!

the link i tried today was The original link was : https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/e1b94be4-b991-4419-a274-aa3a04e617e3/problem-concerning-file-associationwondows-7?forum=vbgeneral#edcafc18-bb95-4f7f-b034-1ed658d6e87c

I am using an alt account, but would appreciate getting this resolved. Where can I send my email address with the issue, or the username is CoCoKolaz.

I know this is read-only/closed, but the title of the page is "banned user" - and the webpage shows "Your account does not have access to the forums system."

once I try to get to content on the new forum, I get the same message (banned user, your account...) when I go to https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/adb3490b-fe4c-40b4-9f8c-58d3df81a5e2/how-do-i-delete-the-csc-directory?forum=w8itpronetworking

I tried several times to inquire for assistance to understand what happened if my account was compromised, or what exactly. I had already reset my account password to be sure, scanned my systems - but I couldn't get a response. I can try and hunt down those requests from earlier this/last year, but it will take some digging.

The forum went read-only, but it still serves as a bounce to the same article that is working normally. for what it is worth, I have thirty years of knowledge (windows Architect for fortune 500) and am now disabled. I have more time to answer and it is a great resource to be able to collaborate with others.

I am using an alt account, but this account has none of my licenses associated with it among other issues.

This issue happens on four different Microsoft forums I tried, so it is weird, and makes getting it corrected that much harder.

I can look at the content with other IDs, or as guest.

The MSDN / TechNet forums are closed and all forums there are now read-only. I don't have any problem viewing those old threads Maybe one of these?

Ok, I did find out the CoCoKolaz profile was banned for reasons unknown to me. There shouldn't be any issues viewing the old forums while signed out or as you said from an in-private session.

I was never given any information as to why, nor received any help to resolve it. My licenses are tied to that account, whenever I search for eventIDs or issues , it shows up as banned.

Can you please remove the ban?
