i have an optional driver update OEM HID CLASS18.16.37.672 DO I need to download and install it? I read it is not recommended to install these updates if nothing ia wrong or only if there is something not working. Also How do i hide optional driver and other optional updates? am afraid to install the update listed above for fear of messing something up and making my computer inoperable. I just wan to hide optional updates in windows 1o not all updates Please help

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
It is best to not install Optional or Preview updates manually from the Updates page in Windows unless you have a problem that is specifically addressed by an optional or preview update
It is best to just let Windows install the normal updates automatically, also there is no way to hide Optional updates, but they will disappear automatically over time.
