Windows 10...program wont launch, process keeps getting killed

The program won't launch. It briefly shows up in services tab in task manager before killing off a second later. I've tried several things and managed to pull up event viewer to see the issue. This is apparently the repeated error that has been causing the process to close before the app can fully open. I'm unsure what it means or how to fix this issue.

I would ask this question at our sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/answers/index.... as Microsoft Community is strictly an end-consumer forum.

There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) IT Pro forums here:

    https://www.techrepublic.com/forums/

    https://www.spiceworks.com/

    I hope it helps.

Hi Kalena. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Try the fixes here for the unhandled exception:

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudi...

Try using the Try Net Framework repair tool:

    https://www.daktronics.com/support/kb/Pages/DD2...

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/detail...

    Troubleshoot reinstallation of Net Framework:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framewo...

For won't install because it is already installed:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

Run the System File Checker and DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

If that fails then move on to Step 11 to run a Repair Install.

I hope this helps. Based on what you report back I can answer any questions and may have other steps to perform. If you'll wait to rate whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
