Okay I figured it out:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\Credential Providers{F8A1793B-7873-4046-B2A7-1F318747F427}
and create DWord: Disabled and set it to 1

I have installed some computers to be used in meeting rooms and therefore used the intune configuration profile for shared computers.
Since it does not remember the last signed in user the default sign in option is FIDO security key. Which we do not use in our company.
Therefore a user would have to click "Sign-in options" and select Local or domain account password. Which is not user friendly.
So I would like to remove this option. Unfortunatly I can't figure it out
Security keys have been disabled in our company wide windows hello, and I have tried different registry which I will post below. However it does not seem to be possible to remove this sign in option? when going to settings->accounts->sign-in options. only security key and password are available options. when trying to manage security key it asks me to insert my security key.
in azure. security->authentichation methods: Fido is not enabled.
Registry attempts:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device
DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion changed from 2 to 0
| Registry Hive | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE |
|---|---|
| Registry Path | Software\Policies\Microsoft\FIDO |
| Value Name | EnableFIDODeviceLogon |
set to 0 from disable
