Window 11

I keep getting the message that my PC isn't able to get Windows 11, but when I ran the health check it said the only thing not compatible is the CPU.

Everything else seems to be ok, though, so what can I do? I can't afford a new PC.

Your computer needs an intel 8th gen or later gen processor, to get windows 11.

But you can install windows 11 by using install.wim file with windows 10 pe bootable disk, but you might wont get proper security updates

    Hi Lazuliann,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Unfortunately, Windows 11 only supports Intel's 8th generation or newer. You can check the list of supported Intel CPUs from the link below.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

Anyway, you can check with your PC manufacturer if you can replace/upgrade the CPU. If you can't, you can still stay with Windows 10. It will be supported until October 2025.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

So your current CPU is not compatible with windows 11. Search your processor type and see if it’s compatible with win11 and search for your CPU type on the web. If it’s on that list, contact support.
