I recently began getting this message, it pops up every few minutes. I already tried updating to windows 11 to see if that resolved it, but it didn't. Any idea as to how I can get this to stop showing up??

I see. Can you right-click on it the Jump to Entry? It should redirect you to its location in the Registry Editor. See if you can delete it from there.

If not, can you post a screenshot of the error and on what tab it is located in autoruns?

    Hi Nebuva,

Click on File in Autoruns then Run as administrator then check if you'll be able to delete it.

I've gotten into Autoruns and found the file that's causing this, but when I try to delete it it says "failed to delete 'Windows11InstallationAssistant.Ink", I've also realized that instead of two ll's in installation it's two capital i's.

Hi Nebuva, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

It seems like the entry has been partially removed and the file has been deleted or quarantined.

To make sure that it isn't a virus, run a full scan

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...

If that didn't remove the entry, use the Autoruns tool from Microsoft to check your startup entries and disable any related to the file in the error message
