AzCopy --log-level option does not work
Hello,
I'm using AzCopy.exe to move files from local storage to a blob container in Azure storage. I'm having issues with the log file because the log files are too large. I'm trying to use the "--log-level" option to limit logging to only ERRORS but this does not work. AzCopy always uses the default logging level which creates large, verbose log files. In other words, the "--log-level" option does not appear to work.
I am using the latest version of AzCopy (v10.15.0).
I have tried using ERROR, NONE, WARNING and PANIC with the --log-level option but none of these work.
Below is an example of the command I am using with AzCopy:
.\azcopy.exe copy "<source>" "https://<destination>" --log-level ERROR --recursive --overwrite ifSourceNewer
Is anyone else having the same issue? Can someone provide an example of how they're using the --log-level option successfully? I really need to use AzCopy to move files but I cannot deal with log files that are large in size. Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks.
