    Hi Tom Bay City,

Welcome to post in Microsoft Community. I'm Mosken, let me help you figure it out.

According to your description, I knew that you entered the wrong email address when registering the system with your Microsoft account, so you cannot receive the verification code now. Is that right?

First of all, is this your first time using your computer? Or are you switching from a local account to a Microsoft account?

If you are using the computer for the first time, when you enter the wrong email address and cannot receive the verification code, you can try to register your device with a new email address, or select "I don't have an available network" (or similar words) when prompted to connect to the network, then try to create a local account and then try to log in. Then you can try switching login with your email in Windows settings.

If you are switching from a local account to a Microsoft account, you can try re-initiating the process. For details, you can visit **** Switch from a local account to a Microsoft account.

The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, I wish that will be helpful to you. If your problem still cannot be solved by these steps, you could tell me the specific situation in the next reply. I will continue to assist you in solving the problem.
