see a lot of questions about email scramble and no answers. How can I get my messages to be received unscrambled?

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.
It appears this is a bug with the mail app, it should hopefully be resolved with an update soon. In the meantime you should be able to login to your email providers website to access your email.
