I had recently installed XAMPP on my Laptop and had created one website on localhost, everything was working fine till today but today when I started XAMPP server to proceed further with my website then Apache Server started normally as usual, but when I try to start MYSQL server then it was started once but after 5 seconds it was stopped suddenly and now its not starting. I had tied reinstalling the XAMPP but it was of no help. Here are the error logs of MySQL:

    Hi Jay-Thakker,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

I apologize, Community is just a user to user from, not a Developers forum, the best option to find a solution for MySQL on XAMPP is to post a question to StackOverFlow, that is the developers website with full support for the XAMPP Stack

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21279442/xa...

or the actual XAMPP Community Forum:

    https://community.apachefriends.org/f/

    Hi Jay,

I had this exact problem with MySQL using WAMP Server. I changed the port to :8080 and it works like a charm.

    Hope this helps,

    Tim
