Task Manager performance tab showing Disk 1 instead of CPU

I noticed this a few days ago. The CPU activity graph in the performance tab of Task Manager doesn't show CPU usage, but Disk 1 usage. Right click > View shows Disk is checked, but when I change it to CPU in that menu Task Manager crashes and reopens, the issue remains. I've tried restarting my PC, installing the latest Windows update, looked for a way to reinstall Task Manager without reinstalling Windows, but haven't found a solution. Thanks

You can reset task manage like this.

Close the Task Manager if you have it running.

Open Windows start menu and type: task manager

Press and hold the keys Alt, Shift, and Ctrl.

While holding the keys, click on the Task Manager shortcut.

It will be as it was when you first installed Windows.

Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Go to MSCONFIG and activate all the processor cores.

To do this, follow these steps.

Press Windows+r keys and type: msconfig

    Press Enter.

Switch to the Boot tab and click Advanced options.

Now check the box next to “Number of processors” and then select the highest number available from the drop-down menu below it. Click Ok when done.

Back in the System Configuration window, click Apply and OK.

Now restart your computer for the changes to take place by clicking Restart on the dialog box.

Go back and see if it solved the problem in the task manager.

If not, just uncheck what I made you check.
