Remote installation folder location (Default C:\RemoteInstall not working

Dear,

I am trying to configure Windows deployment services but it is not working.

I need to choose a path, the path is on default C:\RemoteInstall.

But when pressing ok, it tells me The filename, Directory Name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

Please any help on this

Thank you for that information, in that situation, it is definitely best to post your question and requirements to the link I provided above on the System Admins forum, because that is not covered on Community.

    I downloaded the Evaluation version of Server 2019 with GUI.

    I added the role/features : Windows deployment services

    Went to configure server in deployment services

    now it asks me for a path

    the default is C:\RemoteInstall, but when pressing ok it tells me that the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect

    Please provide more information on this question, are you creating this for your private PC, or are you creating the Windows deployment services in a work environment for many users?
