shadowing

all text and other objects on my screen have a shadow to the right, sometimes a long shadow, makes reading text difficult. How do I fix this?

If the problem continues, it could be a video cable or the monitor; Otherwise, it could be the graphics driver, in that case, download it from the manufacturer's page according to your model and install it.

    Sorry, but a loose cable won't cause a shadow - it will prevent an image from appearing altogether. Nevertheless, I am glad that your problem is solved.

    In the end I found the problem was a loose cable to the monitor. Thanks for your assistance.
