When I try to open settings on pc it won’t let me. It says “ms-settings:display” “ this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.” This is when I try to open display settings. When I try to open settings from the app jus the window pops up but nothing happens. Any solutions? Thank you

    Hello RG_97,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Run this scan please : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/usi...

If this fails to correct the issue do a repair install using the steps here :

Download the media creator tool from here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Install it on your system and run it.

When asked click on upgrade this PC Now.

Follow the steps on the tool and it should replace any missing or corrupt files with new ones without deleting anything on your system. This should hopefully resolve this issue.
