This is not a Chrome problem. It's a Windows 10 update problem. This is not a new issue. Every so often Windows 10 updates cause this problem going back many years. I was basically just reporting this particular issue.

2022-08-17T01:22:16+00:00 In that case to also report this bug to Edge Developers you can choose the Edge Hub (three dots to right of URL address bar) then Help & Feedback, then Feedback form to fill out. They may not even see it here.

2022-08-15T03:51:45+00:00 I don't want to offend you. So I was just simply reporting this issue with the latest Windows 10 update. Not looking for fix. My day job is an IT Professional. ;) I appreciate your time and efforts, but yeah since the issue is directly with the Windows 10 update and the online game then the dev of the game will need to modify his/her code on the platform server. I have already been in contact with "game support" and provided the dump to them. Note: I'm also a software dev both for fun and professionally. ;)
And of course the problem is affecting everyone who plays that particular game, not just me. ;)

2022-08-15T03:36:14+00:00 When Updates cause problems See if you can System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-system-r...
System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before a problem began like a time machine. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this started.
If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here - which I would install now so it's ready:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

- Sign into Chrome sync to save your bookmarks and passwords online easily accessed anywhere by signing into Chrome:
- Next empty the Chrome cache:
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3205...
- Reset Chrome following this guide:
https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-reset-google-ch...
- If that doesn't fix it then do a clean reinstall of Chrome:
Right click empty area of Task bar to open Task manager.
If necessary show More Details
Under "Processes," look for "Google Chrome" or "chrome.exe."
Click it, then click End process.
Next uninstall Chrome in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. Restart PC.
Then go into C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (86) to find the Google folder and delete the Chrome Folder.
You may need to Take Ownership first using this handy tool that will install to your right click mouse button: https://www.askvg.com/add-take-ownership-option...
On the View tab of File Explorer then tick Hidden Files, open C:\Program Data to do the same.
Go into Start > Windows Settings (gear icon) > Apps > Apps & Features > Google Chrome > Uninstall.
Restart PC, reinstall Chrome from fresh download here: https://www.google.com/chrome/
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
