Empty Corrupt Files

I tried to delete a folder on my usb drive that contained other folders and it gave me an error saying " Error 0x80070570: The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable." **** I tried to drag to the recycle bin, didn't work. I tried the command prompt but didn't know how it worked. The folders are empty, they're just corrupted folders with no files in them. I've updated my pc but nothing's worked. I tried to shred them but it did nothing, it just changed its names to random letters.

    Hello JanFP,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Connect the usb to the system.

Go to file explorer (win key + E together)

Right click on the connected usb and click on properties.

    Click on Tools tab.

Click on check button in the error checking section.

Let the system check for errors. Once that is done restart your system if requestion and then try deleting the folders.
