Hello all,

As the title says, I was playing GW2 and then got BSOD.

Its code is PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I have checked in the Event Viewer, it is a critical event.

<Event xmlns="**http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event**">

  • <System> <Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power" Guid="{331c3b3a-2005-44c2-ac5e-77220c37d6b4}" /><EventID>41</EventID><Version>8</Version><Level>1</Level><Task>63</Task><Opcode>0</Opcode><Keywords>0x8000400000000002</Keywords><TimeCreated SystemTime="2022-09-26T17:17:06.1097526Z" /><EventRecordID>3828</EventRecordID><Correlation /><Execution ProcessID="4" ThreadID="8" /><Channel>System</Channel><Computer>DESKTOP-4N4QABV</Computer><Security UserID="S-1-5-18" /></System>

Also here is my dump file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OBhaS3ub8OcXBkzU3vzXsaBortwrTZEY/view?usp=sharing

I tried to read it myself but clueless because it contains so many technical terms that I don't know.

Please help me find out what is going on with my computer.

Thank you for reading.

    Hi Dave,

I have tried run the MemTest86, got not errors.

I have removed all the RAMs and reinserted them back to the motherboard.

    Hope everything is ok now.

    Hi DaftTarsier8848,

That minidump file also indicated memory (RAM) corruption.

Boot your PC into BIOS, if there is an XMP profile set on your RAM, turn that off, set it to default.

Wait to see if your system stabilizes, if not, the best option is to download the widely available free utility MemTest86, then run a full 4 pass scan with that to test your RAM for physical errors

    Hi DaftTarsier8848,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Your minidump file just indicate memory (RAM) corruption no specific driver is listed.

Was that a one-time crash or is this a recurring problem?

If this is a recurring problem, do you have any other minidump files you can upload for analysis.
