Hi,

I get the following message every time i open apps tab in settings: "sign into your Microsoft account to continue app experience across devices". It started after a clean install of windows 11.

I have tried to create a local account, restart, then log onto my Microsoft account again, and i thought that it fixed it since the message disappeared after that, but the message returned ca 18 hours after. I have also tried to reset and repair the store app, but it didn't help.

sfc /scannow has also been tested.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

From your situation, it seems that there are some problems in your account verification after updating win11. You can try the following steps first.

    1. Update your windows to the latest version, which may fix your problem.
    2. Turn off the VPN switch on your computer or turn off the third-party VPN software, and then check. Agents can also affect networking.
    3. Press the Windows key + R to launch the Run dialog box.
    4. Next, launch the Settings app’s Proxy tab by typing “ms-settings:network-proxy” and pressing Enter.
    5. Scroll down to the Manual Proxy Setup section in the Settings menu’s Proxy tab.
    6. Next, move to the screen’s right side and uncheck the box next to Use a proxy server.
    7. Restart your computer to see if the issue is fixed when it starts up again after you’ve successfully disabled the proxy server.

    1. To enter the Run dialog box, first, press Windows key + Rto open up the Run dialog box.
    2. Next, open the VPN tab of the Settings app on your Windows computer by typing “ms-settings:network-vpn” and pressing Enter.
      3. To stop your VPN from interfering with the **Settings** app, click your VPN in the right-hand area of the VPN connection tab, then choose **Remove** from the context menu.

If there is any third-party VPN on your computer, you can also exit and close it directly.

    1. Use the image to repair your windows. This process will not affect your data and files. It is a process of replacing and repairing system components.

Keep us posted if you encounter any challenges along the process.

    Best regards
