Since similar headsets did not connect with your friends laptop too the issue is with the compatibility of the headset and not the systems.

I have the following problem. My laptop is ASUS STRIX G731GT with Windows 10 and all drivers installed. When I try to connect my Philips SHB2515 earbuds it stays on connecting and after a minute or two it says "No response from device". My bluetooth chip is made by Intel.
Now let me tell you what i've tried so far.
- Tried with latest drivers
- Tried with older drivers
- Tried to install fresh Windows 10
- Tried to install fresh Windows 11
- Tried couple of linux distros
- Tried with separate USB bluetooth adapter with Realtek chip in it
- Tried to use troubleshooter to fix bluetooth
- My friend have the same laptop and the same earbuds and he alse cannot connect them to his laptop.
The earbuds works fine and connects to:
- Laptop with Aetheros bluetooth chip
- Laptop with Realtek bluetooth chip
- Any phone
I think the problem isn't with the drivers but somewhere else.
