Windows 7 Appearence Changed

Question

This morning when I turned on my computer the desktop appearence had reverted to the default Windows 7 appearence. When I restarted the computer it reverted back to the old style theme that I have the computer on. Does this happen to anyone else and what causes this?

ok if it was downloded from a MSoft site : Go to that website

again an download it again : or do you see it . When you

open "Personalized" as unselected. click to add it

As your - Desktop win's 7 backround" Saved and ready

Restart at least twice to check. if Stay on : Now if the

theme isn't available. You can download

a new one from this site below : if need help on how

once opened the link with "Win's 7 themes online" click "View All"

when scrolling and find "one wins 7 theme or background wallpaper"

click it to View more < > with windows 7 logos : once you find one

that, you like it > Righ click and from the options > select the

< Save as image > click [Save] button : Next open

"File Explorer" Find the theme file in the - Downloads folder and click

< open > it may appears the option "Save it as desktop backround"

This is a theme that I downloaded from the Microsoft website. I've had it for several years.

Welcome : Read online that. if the user customizes something

like a wallPaper or sound, after being installed the new

theme : When restart wins 7 :will show its default

theme. unknown if this apply in your case

Regarding the revert to the default theme. When turning on the

computer. could be that it wasn't saved properly : Are you

selecting a theme, from the available list or was

download it online : Whatever the case install the same

or new 1 and Restart the Pc twice : The theme stays now,.?

Did you not know that support for win7 ended Jan 2020 and as of that date no further updates of any type.
