Hi
Welcome to Microsoft community.
I'm glad to help you.
Judging from your description, your problem may be caused by some settings.
In order to better judge your problem, could you tell me when your problem probably occurred, and whether you changed the system settings or updated the system?
You can try the following methods first.
- Turn off game mode in Windows 10, turning on this mode may cause problems in the background after playing the game for a long time.
- Open Settings, and click/tap on the Gaming icon.
- Click/tap on Game Mode on the left side, and turn off Game Mode on the right side.
- Turn off the hardware acceleration of Windows, which will also cause some compatibility issues to occur.
- On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
- In Large Icons View, click on Display and click on Change Display Settings, in the left pane.
- Click on Advanced Settings.
In the Advanced Settings window, if Troubleshooting tab is present, then the graphics card supports hardware acceleration.
- Click on the Troubleshooting tab and move the Hardware Acceleration slider to none.
- Click on OK and restart the computer to save the settings.
You can disable hardware acceleration from the Windows Settings app. Specifically from the Advanced Display options.
- Open the Settings app.
- Click “System” on the sidebar.
- Press the “Display” option.
- Click on the “Graphics” option.
- Click the “Change default graphics settings” link.
- Turn off the “Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling” option.
- Close the Settings app.
- Reboot the computer.
- Completely uninstall your graphics card driver and reinstall it. Check if the problem is caused by the graphics card driver.
If you need more help, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards
