Windows' default video interpolation

Hello, I have a question.

What kind of interpolation uses Windows for video playback?

Is this some kind of bilinear interpolation?

If my GPU is Intel® UHD Graphics 630, what kind of interpolation uses for this?

Is this some kind of bicubic interpolation?

Thank you!

    Hi MaVoiture.UserName('Cedric D. Román').,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

May I ask which player you are using to play the video?

Video interpolation in Windows is not unique. Different playback software will call different algorithms depending on the ability of the computer hardware to synchronize. I can give you a page on interpolation here How to: Use Interpolation Mode to Control Image Quality During Scaling, you can refer to the content on the page to find out how it runs (based on C# example).

Due to this concept involves the development of content, it is beyond the scope of the Answers community support, so I can provide the information is limited, if you need more information about this content, please provide your actual use of the software or you can visit Microsoft Docs (for developers and professional community) to post questions.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
