Windows 11 Login problems

I purchased a new laptop and was doing the initial setup. I logged into my Microsoft account to setup the machine. I was asked if I liked the display. I gave it a thumbs down.

I stepped away to let the machine finish updating. I was in the same room.

The computer went to the lock screen, the area where you normally put your profile photo had a blue and white photo of a badge, maybe a security badge? (See photo)

The bottom left corner of the screen showed my profile and "Other User". (See photo)

Now I can't login into the machine, I have checked my Microsoft login on additional devices and it works fine.

Any recommendations?

    Thank you for the informations.

    Check if the same happens using a Windows installation USB.

    Step 1

    Create installation media on this computer or other if necessary.

    Follow the guidelines on the link below, please:

    Step 2

    Configure in your computer's BIOS to start via the USB installation.

    ***If you have any questions on how to start the USB installation, you can refer to this guide please.

    Hi Paloma,

    Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the Restore PC option to work. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Hello, how are you?

    My name is Paloma B., I am very happy to be able to try to help you in the best possible way.

    This is an open community, whenever you need you can share the problem so that possible repairs are suggested.

    I'm sorry about this problem.

    In this case, I suggest that you do a Windows Reset and redo the initial configuration on your computer.

    First try to do it directly in Windows repair mode.

    At the login screen, hold down the SHIFT key and restart your computer.

    Therefore, it should start in repair mode.

    1. Click Troubleshooting;
    2. Advanced options;
    3. Click Restore PC > Choose "Remove All".

    After finishing, try to configure your computer again.
