Lexor flashdrive will not eject

Taskbar process for ejecting states file in use and will not allow me to eject. This happened a few weeks ago and to resolve I switched to a different admin account and it ejected. This time that solution does not work. If I simply turn off and remove the Fdrive will that save its contents? A different Fdrive does not have that problem, so if I copy all contents of Lexor is it likely the problem will also transfer to it?

    Hi Firstace,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I understand that when your Lexor flashdrive is plugged into your computer, you may or may not open the files inside, but you want to eject the Lexor flashdrive, but it won't, am I understanding that correctly? Feel free to correct me if I understand wrong.

    Have you installed software that reads files on mobile devices before?

    As far as we know, with a removable storage device like Lexor flashdrive, if you don't have a file open and you want to eject, but the prompt cannot be ejected, we guess it may be because of some process. These processes may be reading files inside Lexor, so you can't eject properly.

    If you can't click the lower right corner and right click to pop up, you can close the unknown software by logging out. The reference steps are as follows;

    • Start -> Right click on your logged in account -> Logout

    The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, I wish that will be helpful to you. If your problem still cannot be solved by these steps, you could tell me the specific situation in the next reply. I will continue to assist you in solving the problem.

    Best regards,
