The Bios updated; the Alienware updater didn't find anything to update. I retried the issue and it's still doing it.
Extended Display won't open programs
Running Windows 10 19044.2006 with two monitors and have display set to extended display.
For some programs, bluestacks, download manager, and DazCentral, I've noticed won't load all the way or will go into a "not responding" state and will never open when the program launches on the non-primary monitor. If I move the program window to the primary monitor, close the program and re-open it so now it opens on the primary monitor it loads right away with no issues. This happens 100% of the time. If I try and open one of those 3 programs and the loading window shows up on the non-primary monitor I know it's not going to load and will sit there forever saying loading or not responding.
I don't understand this issue as I have no idea what the difference in the monitors is?... It's just the display and should have no difference on connectivity or system resources... But that's whats happening. Anyone know what if happening here?
thanks in advance.
Jason

Download and install the Dell Update/Alienware Update Application and update all drivers. Then see if the mentioned behavior stops occurring.

Also, there is a recommended BIOS update for this computer. I suggest you install it too. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to install the BIOS update.

I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
What is the manufacturer and model of your computer?
If you prefer, you can send a screenshot of your system information.
- Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.
Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to take a screenshot.

That's not true from a programming viewpoint which is how your computer works. From your viewpoint it is true. Multi display always has problems on every OS ever created. No one can ever get it quite right :)
It can be related to OS as that has a part of the pie. So, make sure you have the latest updates.
There are quite a lot of things for multi display such as the settings, tools (including 3rd party), and whatever. Something should help. But, they are too numerous that I'm not suggesting anything.
Also the applications themselves have a say in it as well and can cause issues.
Someone else may pick something more specific. I'm intentionally not. You can search for stuff to do and imo that's what to do.
