I have an Asus republic of gamers nvidia Geoforce GTX core i7. I have had this computer for many years. Originally it had windows 8 but has upgraded to windows 10. It has been working perfectly fine until this morning. I started up the laptop but immediately went into windows 7 startup repair mode. I have looked through various sources online on how to fix it, but none of them work. One which involves me on how to switch back to Windows 10 but it doesn't even appear as an option. Its like it doesnt exist. Please I need help?

Don’t worry, your system doesn’t become Windows 7, Windows 10 startup repair interface is similar with Windows 7, your still using Windows 10, just meet with a no boot issue.

Now, forcibly shutdown laptop three or four times, and system would enter advanced recovery interface. Click advanced options to enter WinRE In WinRE, you could restore system to a previous timepoint or Reset PC. Besides, if this boot issue only occurred after you installed updates, you can also uninstall recent updates in WinRE command prompt.

With me was worse, i had installed 2 years ago the windows 10, i was using before a windows 7 with partition C: and D:, one OS mostly, and the other for backups, when i install windows 10 on it i used only 1 partition, i formated the drive, bcuz i had already cloned the backups to another hard drive, after formating with gparted, i installed win 10, and now 2 years latter my pc just got a black screen while working, and rebooted, when it ask to enter startup repair, it lead me to scndsk, and them it recovered that 2 partions EXACTLY how they was, even that i had my windows 10 restore to factory configs, 15 days ago, so iam very shocked as how could my windows 10 crash, and do what no hard drive data recover program can do. And now iam without 2 year of images, videos, works, and can track even where it could be, bcuz the partion from windows 10 on HD dosent even exist. What can i do to recover at least my works and photos from a partition that looks like never existed? Help please alot of work lost.
