Are the items grouped by type?
Right-click in the same File Explorer Window, and choose Group by to None. See if it sorts with the desired thing you want.

Hi. I have Windows 11 and if I use Save As in Documents the dropdown box displays most recent files then folders but I want an alphabetical list as I can't find things quickly when they are jumbled up. How do I change the dropdown menu to alphabetical please?

2022-08-03T15:02:27+00:00 Thank you. I didn't understand at first when you said the File Explorer Window but I found I can do that in the 'Save As' dialogue box and it has worked!
