Windows 11 Microphone Issues

Hi,

 I've been digging through these forums and guides for the past 3 hours attempting to fix an issue with my microphone on my Acer Swift X laptop.  It does not receive any audio input whatsoever regardless of device.  I have tried everything from updating drivers, checking privacy settings, app permissions, un- and reinstalling drivers, corrupted file scan and repair, deleting my headset and adding it back.  Nothing has worked thus far.  Is there anything short of a reset I can do?  Even the internal microphone on the laptop isn't working.
