I am searching for a file. I know roughly where I filed it. But there are two similarly named files. All the files in the folder are displayed using "Large icons". So I click on one to view it in the preview pane. Just exactly what I would do in Windows 10. What I get is a thumbnail which is smaller than the icon itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
But what I also get is a list of properties - what the hell do I want them here for? If I wanted them I could access the document directly and change them or review them there.
So am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting somewhere that I should change? Because if there is I can't find it

Hi Mike,
I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.
Please send the screenshot of how the preview looks like.
Also tell us what is the extension/type of the file.
Palcouk. Yes 365 is involved. And yes, in File Explorer you see a "family tree of the folders on your system on the left hand side, in the middle section you see all the files/folders inside any folder you select in the first panel and then if you select a file, you should see a preview of that file in the right hand "Preview Pane". That's what has happend in every version of Windows since time immemorial
In File Explorer the left pane shows various folders including Quick Access folders and rt pane you access View for your preferred layout
But there again is 365 involved?
