I have two computer both have bitlocker enabled

Second one d drive need manage-bde command

To decrypt

1.If decrypt with this command, will it lose encryption protection in use for d drive?

2.C drive never need to use manage-bde to decrypt

Does it mean that confidential data should save to d drive is better than c drive document folder ?

3.What is the difference in two computer when both have bitlocker enabled, and one need manage-bed to decrypt ?

    Hi 2AI,

Glad to see you in Microsoft Community.

This question is out of scope for the Answers Support Community. The best place to get help for Bitlocker is Microsoft Docs, which is intended to support more advanced users such as yourself.

I won’t be able to help further myself, but I will leave this question open in case any of our amazing volunteers has some insights for you.

    Best regards!
