About My CPU?

Dear Sir/Madam,

                       How's things?,

I installed Windows 11 and all works fine in my 5th/6th Gen. Intel but after i installed a free installed program named WhyNot11 it's showing my CPU is currently not on the Windows 11 computer supported list with a red cross on the left hand side. Microsoft and computer experts from their websites also stated not to attempt to install Window 11 on any computer under 8th Gen. Intel as it will only end up with computer type errors and or a computer not running properly?. According to Microsoft they only want Windows 11 installed in computer/s that are only over 8th Gen. Intel or later. To please Microsoft in full I'd have to either upgrade my computer from where it is now to an 8th Intel or later?, so it then satisfies the Windows 11 requirements by Microsoft, or buy another computer that has Windows 11 pre installed that has passed the test of the Windows 11 requirement/s?. I am not really either way going to spend money just yet, unless one day i got a blue screen warning on the startup by Microsoft showing why my computer isn't compatible with Windows 11?, and had two choices, one was my computer was automatically reversed back to Windows 10 by Microsoft's technology/inventions, or simply I had to upgrade or buy a newer computer, if I want to get Windows 11 updates ?,and my computer was rechecked by Microsoft in making sure I go by their rules?, and if I didn't budge I'd end up with a computer locked up until I do budge. I also installed Microsoft's P.C Health Check program and that also has a red cross on the left hand side of my CPU listing and having the same outcome as the WhyNot11 program?. Like to add in your comments or questions?, please let me know...bye

    Hello Maroner,
    I am Jaspreet Singh.
This is a user forum and hence Microsoft employees rarely visit here. Most of the user base is consumers like you and me.
And while Microsoft did allow installation of windows 11 on unsupported devices it was mentioned that you may have issues running windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

Microsoft has mention making the choice of not supporting intel cpu's under 8 th gen (with some exceptions) due to security and performance issues with windows 11 in their tests.
What was the bluescreen error message that you got?
