Hi everyone, I have bought Lenovo legion 5 15ITH6H less than one month ago and I experienced freeze/lag issue, how to produce? I open a game that require the dGPU to be activated and then close the game now every app every action I do will cause the mouse and screen to freeze for a second and its very annoying the only way to get rid of it is to restart the laptop but if I play a game or use any app that require dGPU and close it the problem happen again...

I partially fixed it by disabling the hybrid mode so now my laptop will only use the RTX 3060 but it will drain a lot of battery I formatted the laptop many times and updated it through the windows and through the Lenovo vantage app to the latest drivers, but the problem is not fixed this happens while the laptop plugged to the power or unplugged doesn't matter.

I also have another problem with hybrid mode off or on doesnt matter but this time while the laptop is unplugged and using the battery so If I play an old game that should run perfectly fine even if on battery the game shows very high fps but it keep stuttering every second this game is call of duty 4 I tried newer game like apex legends and its the same problem the game shows 60 fps but it still stutter every second I have an old Samsung laptop with 315M and can run call of duty 4 on battery just fine lol.

I also need to note that I had HP omen 16 with i7 11800H and rtx 3060 ( I replaced it with this legion 5 because I noticed that the HP had a faulty touchpad) but when I tested the HP it didn't have any of these problems.

excuse my bad English,

any help will be appreciated.

    Dear Mahdi Talal,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

May I ask wehther your graphics card driver is the latest version? If not, please download and install it from the graphics card manufacturer's website.

You can perform a clean boot, then open the game to see if the problem exists.

    1. Log on to the computer as an administrator.
    2. In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig, and then select System Configuration from the results.

    1. On the System Configuration Services tab, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable All.

    1. On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.

    1. Under Startup in Task Manager, select the item for each startup item, and then select Disable.
    2. Close Task Manager.
    3. On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart your computer, it is in a clean boot environment.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best regards,
