I tried this, and it didn't work.
The problem is not the cables, because I tried this with 2 different cables, both of which were brand new.

I just got a brand new audio USB audio cable, yet Windows 11 does not recognize it. I plug it in to the USB port, and it makes a little "beep-boop", but it doesn't work.

Maybe the problem is with the USB port.
Hi TimBrown957
I'm Juliet and I'll do my best to help you.
Could you please test your system in Safe Mode and Clean Boot to see if the problem still persists? Here are the instructions:
CLEAN BOOT: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...
SAFE MODE: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...
You should also disable any third-party antivirus software and only use Windows Defender. The same goes for any software that may directly interfere with your device and its settings, such as optimizers.
I hope it helps! Let me know the results.
Have a nice day ahead and Stay safe always :)
